Operations Supervisor

The Operations Supervisor will oversee and coordinate daily operational activities within our company.
This role is a critical point of escalation in the Operations Team, advising and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of import and distribution processes and maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and problem-solving skills, a keen understanding of logistics and supply chain management, and a passion for ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:Customer Service:Being the point of escalation to provide support to customer service in daily order processing resolving issues and questions.Being the point of escalation to provide support for logistics and supplier issues.Participate in the Identification, Evaluation, and Auditing of New Facilities and Transport Providers.Inventory Management:Oversee inventory control processes, storage conditions, and rotation.Conduct regular audits and inventory checks to maintain accuracy and minimise discrepancies.Quality Control:Work with Quality Department to implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure products meet company and regulatory standards.Sample Management:Coordinate Customer Sample Requests.Collaborate with Product Managers.Qualifications:Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in senior customer service or an operations role, preferably within the food wholesale or import industry.Preferred knowledge of food safety regulations, import/export procedures, and logistics.Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with inventory management software.Please note this is an office-based role in Fitzroy North.
