About the role:
Reporting to the Strategy and Performance Manager as the Senior Project Manager you will successfully lead and deliver strategic projects, programs and portfolio aligned to the SALHN Strategic Plan 2023-2027, by the Project Management Office.
Some duties will include:
Lead, develop and foster a positive work culture which is based on SA Public Sector and SALHN values and promotes inclusion, empathy, trust and encourages creativity and innovation.
Oversee a portfolio of projects, programs and highly complex, high-impact projects with significant impact on the organisation.
Ensure strategic alignment with organisational goals, manage high-level stakeholder relationships, oversee resource allocation, and ensure robust risk and issue management.
Develop and implement project management framework, procedures and guidelines to enhance project delivery across the organisation.
Provide mentoring and coaching to project staff across the organisation.
About you:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills which demonstrate capacity to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders on a range of sensitive and complex issues to achieve positive outcomes.
Think strategically, conceptually, and creatively to analyse and resolve complex organisational problems, at both strategic and operational levels.
Demonstrated skills in analysing and interpreting data (whether qualitative or quantitative) with high-level format to accommodate the key stakeholder audience.
Demonstrated high experience in Project Management and managing complex programs and portfolios of work, in a complex organisation, and during periods of change.
Please note: This position is multi-classed as either a ASO8 , AHP4 or RN3 and classification will be determined by qualifications and experience.
