About DDH1 Drilling DDH1 Limited is Australia's premier ASX-listed mineral drilling contractor, serving the Australian mining and exploration industry – from the smallest explorer to the largest miners across all phases of mineral exploration and resource development.
About the Opportunity: In order to achieve our growth strategies, we are now seeking an appropriately qualified and experienced HSE Advisor to join our team working across a number of our sites in WA.
Reporting directly to the HSE Manager, the purpose of this role is to provide support, guidance, and technical advice to line management and site workers in relation to HSE, ensuring the team maintains a safe workplace/environment across all locations.
Your Responsibilities Will Include: Assisting drill crews in Risk Management process Conducting Inspections and Audits at remote locations Assisting with incident investigations using the ICAM process Leading the review and development of operational procedures and work instructions Maintaining data and registers in HSE Management software Participating in the development of WHS planning, policies, and procedures Completing testing and tagging in remote locations About You: You will have a minimum of 5 years' experience within the mining industry, preferably with exposure to diamond drilling.
The preferred candidate will have a minimum diploma level qualification in WHS and ICAM training.
You should be experienced in coaching supervisors and frontline workers.
You will be able to demonstrate exceptional time management and organisational skills; the ability to travel long distances and work on remote sites.
Salary and Roster: Salary and FIFO rosters, preference is 2/1, will be discussed individually with applicants.
