Opportunity for Mechanical Fitter (Filed Service) with strong Engine experience to join our team.
We offerHoerbiger Australia Pty Ltd (HIA) is looking to recruit experienced Field Service personnel to join our team.
The role involves service and repair of industrial air and gas compressors, gas engines, and associated equipment.
Candidates can look forward to an interesting and varied role with travel to customer sites locally and interstate as well as workshop activities.

Accurately recording data related to work performed in a timely manner.
Fault finding and problem solving.
Installation and commissioning of equipment.
Working closely with HOERBIGER sales and service personnel.
Maintaining relationships with customers to promote and retain business.
What you should bring with youRelevant formal Education and Training (Australian Recognised Trade Qualifications in Fitting and Machining or Equivalent).Experience in working with Gas Engines (highly regarded), Compressors, and associated equipment (Oil and Gas experience an advantage).Excellent communication with demonstrated strong English language skills both written and verbal.High attention to detail and ability to work independently or within small teams.An understanding of quality, safety, and environmental systems and principles.Willingness to travel including occasionally to remote locations for service work at client facilities.Physically fit and able to attend pre-employment medical and drug testing at our cost.A current Drivers License and Passport.The right to work in Australia (Assistance with visas and relocation support may be available where the applicant is suitable for employment in this position in Australia).Company ProfileHOERBIGER Australia Pty Ltd operates branches in Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth as part of HOERBIGER which is active throughout the world in the energy sector, the process industry, the automotive industry, the mechanical engineering sector, in safety engineering, and in the electrical industry.
