The Watergate Port Douglas is a premier restaurant and lounge bar, proudly serving the vibrant community of Port Douglas for over 20 years.
Known for our commitment to quality and exceptional dining experiences, we are now seeking a talented Head Chef to lead our kitchen team.
Position Overview: As the Head Chef, you will oversee the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that we continue to deliver outstanding dishes that reflect our high standards.
We are looking for a passionate culinary leader with experience in an upscale venue.
Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement innovative menus that showcase seasonal and local ingredients.
- Manage food costings to ensure profitability and sustainability.
- Ensure compliance with all work, health, and food safety regulations.
- Oversee wage costings and maintain efficient kitchen staffing.
