You'll find our 350+ team currently across 9 locations and 6 time zones.The RoleAs a key member of our Trading Operations team at Pepperstone, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our business users and clients.
You will have the important responsibility of overseeing the configuration, maintenance, and seamless operation of our order management systems, as well as our internal trading infrastructure, which includes aggregation and liquidity management systems.This role requires a solid understanding of the various trading systems we provide to our clients, coupled with a deep understanding of Pepperstone's business model.
Moreover, you'll need to showcase exceptional skills in effectively and securely managing trading environments.As our Trading Operations Engineer, your key responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:Provide Tier 2&3 escalation and operational support to the business.Monitoring of business-critical Trading Systems.Configure MT4, MT5, cTrader trading servers following business and regulatory demands.Monitoring the pricing and corporate actions of our trading offering.Complete daily operational tasks as required by the business and our regulators.Facilitate projects in coordination with the other internal teams and external technology providers.About youBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Finance or any other related disciplineExcellent knowledge of the English language both written and oral is necessary.Hands-on experience with project management toolsKnowledge of Python and SQL is an advantageFlexibility with regards to work hours, weekend tasks, and shiftsAbility to live the Pepperstone valuesCommitted to ongoing learning and developmentAt least 1 year experience in a similar analyst role; experience in financial services or similar analyst role is ideal but not a requirementWhy you will enjoy working with usCompetitive salary structure including company bonus schemeGenuinely collaborative and friendly cultureFlexible and hybrid workingRemote working option - work from anywhere for up to 6 weeks per year, in addition to hybrid working as standardOngoing personal development & learning opportunities15 weeks paid primary carers parental leave & 4 weeks paid secondary carers leave3 paid volunteering days per year & Workplace Giving ProgramFrequent events and celebrations including a standard weekly socialBeautifully renovated large office at Collins Square - 727 Collins Street, MelbourneBest in class end of trip facilities including bicycle parking, change rooms & showersA full stocked kitchen, onsite coffee machines with locally sourced coffee beans (this is Melbourne after all) and curated specialty teasAbout PepperstoneWe're a regulated online Forex and CFD trading platform.
