Pindara Private Hospital, Benowa The Opportunity Pindara Private Hospital is one of the few hospitals in Australia with a specialised unit dedicated to neurosurgery. Our Neurosurgery Unit 3E consists of a 25-bed ward supported by a four-bed close observation unit.
This is a permanent part-time opportunity to work as a Patient Service Assistant. Your duties will include:
Provide patient care where required or supported by clinical staff membersPerform cleaning duties in patient rooms and common areasAssist patients on arrival and allow them to settle for their admission.Your Skills and Experience To be successful in this role you will be a positive and effective team player who brings excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage your time effectively to meet your responsibilities.
You will also hold:
Certificate III in Aged Care, Health Services or Care Support Services (Desirable)Experience within a clinical hospital settingProven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as requiredSolid understanding of hospital operations, medical terminology, and quality patient careUnderstanding importance of infection control and manual handling guidelinesRemuneration On offer is an attractive base salary + superannuation, based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
