Lifestyle Assistant | St Luke's Green Aged CareAustralian Unity's Better Together social model of ageing well offers a continuum of care and support services for our Residents, within a range of accommodation options in a number of areas across Australia.Do you want to make a difference working to assist the lives of the elderly, building relationships and connections in a rewarding community?We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Lifestyle Assistant to join our friendly team in Woolloongabba on a Part Time basis 2 days per week working Thursday and Friday.What's on Offer:Permanent hours for work-life balanceAdditional yearly Well-Being and Community leave days as well as up to 14 weeks paid parental leave with equal benefits for both parents and access to a number of employee discounts.Your New Role:Come and join the team at St Luke's Green where we are leading the industry in driving our award-winning 'Better Together' model, raising the quality of living in aged care.At St Luke's Green we are proud of our culture; we are an embracing and supportive team, we welcome resident preferences and choice, and we connect to engage our community of residents, families, and care staff.What does your new role look like?Actively encouraging residents to participate in a variety of meaningful activities and assist in their deliveryEnsuring a high level of resident satisfaction at all timesCommunicating effectively with residents, families, and volunteersAssisting with care plans and programsContinually exploring new opportunities and programs to meet the holistic needs of our residentsEnsuring all reporting requirements are efficiently completedAbout you:Certification in Lifestyle and Leisure - preferred or relevant experienceExperience in Aged Care, Community Living, or Health ServicesWell-developed interpersonal and communication skillsA person-centred focus and commitment to providing a high level of serviceProven initiative and the ability to think outside the box when tailoring activitiesExperience working with people living with Dementia or Alzheimer's highly regardedWilling to obtain an NDIS Clearance Check if successfulFully vaccinated for Influenza and COVID-19 (2 Doses)If you're seeking a role with real purpose and where you can create meaningful customer relationships - please apply today.Australian Unity is an Equal Opportunity employer, and we encourage applications from all members of the community, including people of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent, culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and mature aged people.
