About the role
As the Production and Installation Manager at MJ Playgrounds, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of our high-quality playground equipment.
In this full-time position based in Coolum Beach, Queensland, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production planning, scheduling, and the seamless installation of our products at customer sites.
What you'll be doing Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer delivery timelinesManage the procurement of raw materials and components to support productionOversee the production team, providing guidance and training to ensure quality and productivity targets are metCoordinate the logistics of playground equipment installation at customer sites, ensuring a smooth and efficient processLiaise with the sales team to address any production or installation-related issuesContinuously seek opportunities to enhance production and installation processes, identifying and implementing process improvementsEnsure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulationsWhat we're looking for Proven experience in a production or operations management role, preferably in the manufacturing or building industry (Min.
2 years experience)Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple concurrent projectsExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering efficient and cost-effective solutionsDemonstrated experience in leading and motivating a team to achieve production and quality targetsFamiliarity with procurement processes and supply chain managementA strong understanding of workplace health and safety regulationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholdersWhat we offer
