We are seeking a highly motivated Educator to join our dynamic early learning program, which encourages children aged 3-5 years to explore and discover their world and supports the joy of learning another language; our school's unique offering. This is a full-time ongoing position to commence from Term 1, 2025.
Together with our Early Childhood Teachers, you will promote the foundations of a lifelong love of learning and embed Chinese language learning opportunities through an immersive and intentional language program within the daily curriculum of the Centre.
Minimum Requirements:ACECQA recognised Certificate III or Diploma in Early Education and CareCurrent ACECQA approved first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma certifications or willingness to obtainCurrent ACECQA approved Child Protection training or willingness to obtainFluency in Mandarin and strong understanding of Chinese cultureAvailability to work between the hours of 7.00am - 6.10pm. Shifts are scheduled from 7.20am to 6.10pm on the ELC roster; staff enjoy a regular shift patternUnderstanding of current early education and care legislation and regulations including the EYLF and NQSSelf-motivation and initiativeDemonstrated strengths-based approach in working with children and their familiesSound ICT skills.In return for your skills and experience you will:
Work in a dynamic, growth-oriented and high performing team learning alongside our professional Teachers and EducatorsParticipate in regular high quality training and professional development days at the commencement of each school termEngage in professional mentoring by our experienced Early Learning leadership teamDaily programming time allocation to prepare learning experiences and documentationExperience and access a range of incredible facilities on campus including the Bibliotheque adjacent to the CentreEnjoy working in a team with high staff to child ratios (4 staff in each classroom team)Participate in a supportive induction programHave access to the Employee Assistance Program.To apply please address your correspondence to the Principal, Ms Shauna Colnan.
