Better Health Network (BHN) is seeking a dynamic Program Manager to lead our Resilient Communities portfolio – a multidisciplinary suite of programs designed to empower marginalised communities and drive meaningful change.

The Resilient Communities program includes multiple bespoke programs with highly skilled staff across the following services: The statewide RhED program, Victoria's leading resource for sex worker advocacy and support.
Innovative responses to family violence and complex triage.
Culturally responsive Indigenous access and equity initiatives Evidence-based counselling services tailored to unique community needs.
The Opportunity This is no ordinary management role.
As Program Manager, you'll be at the forefront of driving innovative, client-centred solutions to some of society's most pressing challenges.

What We're Looking For This is an exceptional role for the right person who is a politically astute and engaging leader with: Exceptional Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams with a lived experience, and maintain the diversity of the services while integrating them into a community health service.
Expertise in Vulnerable Populations: Deep understanding of the challenges faced by complex and marginalised communities, paired with a commitment to trauma-informed care.
Strategic and Operational Excellence: Experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating complex, evidence-based programs.
Advocacy and Engagement: A track record of influencing policy, managing stakeholders, and contributing to progressive reform agendas.
Commitment to Equity: An intersectional lens in program delivery and team leadership.
What You'll Bring Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
Significant experience in managing and delivering complex social support programs.
Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
The ability to influence stakeholders at all levels to achieve organisational goals.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting business cases.
