Our client is a thriving professional services firm with a strong national presence dedicated to supporting small and medium business owners with a comprehensive range of solutions, including accounting, bookkeeping, finance, and insurance.
With ongoing growth and success, they are now expanding their Perth team and seeking a Client Manager to join their dynamic, team-focused environment.
The Role The Senior Accountant - Client Manager will play a pivotal role in delivering top-tier tax and compliance services, along with a variety of accounting tasks to effectively support their team and supervisor.
As the primary client liaison, this role demands exceptional client service and attention to detail.
The ideal candidate will be technically adept, staying current with the latest updates in taxation law, accounting standards, and relevant systems.
They will have the opportunity to specialize in key areas of tax law, sharing their expertise with colleagues and contributing to staff training and onboarding, while also assisting in peer review processes.
Requirements This role requires a minimum of 3 years in public practice as well as ideally CPA/CA and tertiary accounting qualifications.
The successful candidate will have experience in the preparation and review of financial statements and tax returns, excellent knowledge of Australian taxation legislation, and excellent communication skills.
The ability to mentor and manage staff as well as review work for accuracy is expected, as is strong external stakeholder management.
