Located at the School of Psychology on the Camperdown Campus.
Opportunity to contribute to research in a clinical service delivery setting.
Base Salary (HEO9): $140,913 - 148,684 p.a., (pro-rata) + 17% superannuation.
About the opportunity The University of Sydney is welcoming applications for a Clinic and Research Manager for the Child Behaviour Research Clinic (CBRC).
In this role, you will be responsible for the coordination and management of the day-to-day activities of the CBRC including:
Operational managementClinical trainingResearch management activitiesReporting to Professor Mark Dadds and Professor David Hawes, the Clinic and Research Manager will oversee specialist clinical training, supervisory, and clinical service delivery functions of the CBRC.
They will act as the cohesive link coordinating the intersection of multiple research teams operating within the CBRC.
Additionally, they will contribute substantively to research activities as appropriate to their skills and interests.
Your key responsibilities will be to: Manage the Child Behaviour Research Clinic as a Centre of excellence in specialist clinical training, supervision, and service delivery in the area of child psychopathology.Deliver training and educational opportunities to the broader community within clinical psychology, health/allied health, and education to improve service provision for children and families addressing mental health.Ensure ethical and professional project management of studies.Maintain relationships with all research stakeholders, focusing on the training and monitoring of CBRC staff on research protocols.About you The University values courage and creativity; openness and engagement; inclusion and diversity; and respect and integrity.

Postgraduate qualifications in clinical psychology, psychology, or a related area with extensive relevant experience.Registration as a Psychologist with Clinical Psychology endorsement and registration as a board approved clinical supervisor.Extensive experience managing research projects, particularly those involving database management, assessment, recruitment, and maintenance of human participants (e.g., children and families) in a clinical setting.Work Rights: You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to apply.
