We have an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team leading our approach to the provision of quality care to clients with Gastroenterology and Infectious Diseases.
The position of Senior Clinical Trial Coordinator involves the management of clinical trials and research projects.
The position will be based at St Vincent's Centre for Applied Medical Research.
As a resource for assigned projects, the Clinical Trial Coordinator is required to case manage patients undergoing care within a research project, manage project specific resources, ensure treatment and data collection is in compliance with the Protocol, International Conference on Harmonisation - Good Clinical Practice (ICH-GCP), Australian regulations and privacy laws.

We are seeking a skilled and energetic Senior Clinical Trial Coordinator who possesses a passion for person-centred care.

Selection Criteria: Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent's Health Australia. Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency. Demonstrated experience as a Registered Nurse and evidence of working as a Registered Nurse in clinical trials that includes the integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, HREC and SSA submissions, critical thinking, data analysis and research principles including Good Clinical Practice. Demonstrated ability to work within the interdisciplinary team. Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated computer literacy with email and an electronic patient record system. Demonstrated evidence of leading a team of junior clinical trial coordinators, nursing or similar clinical staff. Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environment.
