The Opportunity:
Komatsu is seeking a skilled and motivated Supervisor - Maintenance to join our team at Batchfire Mine Site.
This role is ideal for a proactive leader with a strong background in heavy equipment maintenance, who is dedicated to ensuring the highest standards in safety, efficiency, and equipment reliability.

Trade qualification in mechanical or electrical maintenance, or a relevant field Demonstrated experience in a supervisory role within the mining or heavy equipment industry Strong understanding of maintenance processes, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting Excellent communication and leadership skills Commitment to safety and continuous improvement Oversee maintenance operations, ensuring all work is completed to Komatsu standards and mine site requirements Manage a team of technicians and tradespeople, providing training, guidance, and support to maintain high productivity and morale Collaborate with site management to schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks, ensuring minimal equipment downtime Conduct regular inspections, audits, and safety meetings to uphold health and safety protocols Troubleshoot complex mechanical and technical issues, implementing solutions to improve equipment reliability Maintain accurate records and reports for equipment servicing, repairs, and inventory usage.
