In this role you will play a key support to the team, assisting them with technical specifications and managing the fit of garments to ensure a consistent approach is developed and maintained.
The team are constantly looking to take our brands and styles to the next level, and in ensuring we have the best fit of products: this represents a fantastic entry-level opportunity to get first-hand experience from the team and grow your career within the patternmaking and garment technician space.
Day to day you will be assisting and supporting the team with the following:
Develop and maintain garment blocks that ensure consistency of fit for the productProvide garment specifications, accurate technical drawings & sample fit evaluation in PLMAssist Designers to develop new concepts for shape and fitProvide clear fit appraisals for shape developments including grading and wear trialsManage samplesWhat experience do I have? Some level of work or internship experience in a Patternmaker or Garment Tech role within the industry would be preferred.Strong administrative and data entry/admin skillsStrong PC skills: MS Office suite and a working knowledge of Illustrator would be preferred.Confident communicator, intuitive and a good listenerFlexible, open to change and able to juggle tasks and prioritiseWhat's in it for me?
