Your role will focus on connecting parents and carers with the support they need, and collaborating with local networks.
Reporting to our Team Leader, you'll be based in Maryborough.You will make a difference by:Identifying barriers to early childhood supports for families, and promoting resources and information to support parents and carers.Actively supporting transitions through the early years service system.Building connections with local service providers including primary, child and allied health, early childhood education and development programs, government agencies, schools, and other specialist supports.Engaging with children and families who are not currently accessing support services and identifying where additional assistance and external services are required, providing appropriate information, support and referrals.A place to feel valued:You're an experienced and confident early childhood practitioner, with a passion for early childhood development.
You work from a strengths-based perspective, your interpersonal skills are excellent, and you build relationships easily with other service providers.Bringing your best every day means having:Demonstrated experience in working with children and families in the early years space.Experience in working collaboratively with local service providers, and building and maintaining partnerships and networks.Well-developed time management, organisational, and coordination skills.Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood or another relevant field, or significant relevant experience.A place to belong:54 reasons is proudly part of Save the Children Australia.
