Senior Scientific Officer
to join us for a 12-month fixed contract.
The Senior Scientific Officer is responsible for the generation of Annual Product Quality Reviews, Vendor Qualifications, product launch coordination, and quality oversight along with any other tasks deemed necessary by the Quality Assurance Supervisor.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Perform Quality Oversight on third party productsGenerate and review Annual Product Quality Reviews, and Vendor Qualifications in accordance with the relevant schedules, change control requirements or as requested by the relevant Quality Assurance SupervisorComplete documentation according to guidelines and communicate effectively with othersManage and update the related tracking lists for PQRs and VQs to ensure all details are kept current and any documentation is requested from sites as requiredNotify and follow up with third party sites as required in relation to Compendial Updates (for Third Party Team only)Support and encourage continuous improvement initiatives for the benefit of the Quality department and the wider businessEnsure activities comply with GMP, legal and ethical standardsProvide insight and apply creativity to challenging situationsPlan, monitor and achieve goals within set time framesProvide, build and maintain consistent, reliable and accurate customer servicePresent a professional imagePerform other duties as required by managementCommunicate and endorse safety practices, monitor key safety performance indicators and visibly participate in promoting safety policies and initiativesJob Requirements:Bachelor's degree in SciencePrevious experience in Pharmaceuticals preferredPrevious GMP experience preferredExperience with writing reports and presenting dataViatris Benefits:Employee rewards and discount platformAnnual wellness allowanceRecognition programsState of the art canteen onsite with a variety of subsidised food optionsBenefits for health and financial wellnessCorporate deals with vendors including superannuation fund, health insurance and othersViatris Product loyalty programFree annual flu vaccination2 days of paid volunteer leave per annumAdditional paid parental leaveCareer and development planning for continuous growth and learningRetirement savings plansAnnual leave loading, as well as paid additional bereavement leaveCulture:Viatris has been named in Forbes' World's Best Employers 2022 list.
