Full timeAdd expected salary to your profile for insights.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the service delivery, support, and proactive maintenance of the Bank's IT Infrastructure services and processes.Contribute towards maximizing the availability and cyber protections of IT Infrastructure systems by enhancing resilience and recovery capabilities to minimize the impact of incidents.Deliver the required documentation, reporting, and data collection for asset management, audit, standard operations, and proactive management of the Bank's end-to-end IT infrastructure services and processes.Continuously improve systems to enhance the user experience, operate efficiently and cost-effectively, including maximizing automation and orchestration of implementation and ongoing operations.Your TeamBe part of a team that supports each other and demonstrates growth mindsets. This role is part of the Corporate Services Group, Information Technology Department. The Corporate Services Group is responsible for the effective provision of information technology, workplace (asset management, facilities management, building security, and procurement), and data management services to support the delivery of the Bank's policy, operational, and corporate objectives. Information Technology Department is responsible for transforming and developing the core IT functions that support the Reserve Bank's policy, operational, and corporate objectives. This role is a hybrid position, split between the Sydney CBD office or our Bella Vista location and working from home.Your BackgroundTo be successful in this critical role you will possess:Understanding of Windows Operating Systems (2012R2, 2016, and 2019) and RHEL (RHEL7 and RHEL8) or other Linux distributions. Experience of Windows Server OS systems administration/automation preferred.Interest in Cyber Security, especially in vulnerability management.7-10 years of demonstrated IT experience in a service delivery or system administration role.Experience in automating system administrative tasks, especially on software updates.Be proactive in taking initiatives to automate manual tasks.Willingness to maintain, or undertake provided training to acquire, IT and industry-related certifications as products are updated/released.Why RBA?The RBA makes an important contribution to the Australian economy through the pursuit of national economic policy objectives and associated activities in financial markets and banking.
