Their investors are high net worth, ultra-high net worth, and Family Offices, and they do not participate in retail offerings or investment within the financial sector trading on platforms.PrivateInvest Credit provides Investment and Facility Management services for commercial loans for the development and property sector in the loan bracket between $3 million to $25 million in the non-bank lending sector.
These commercial first mortgage registered loans are for site finance, land subdivision, residential, commercial, hospitality, and with loan facility timeframes between 9 to 24 months.PrivateInvest Credit's management team boasts extensive experience in property development, banking, and commercial debt, covering areas such as property equity, senior debt, mezzanine debt, preferred equity, and hybrid debt instruments.As a boutique Investment Manager, they have a strong emphasis on relationship management, culture and ethos, ensuring they balance/match inbound capital with new loans to avoid writing substandard loans.
The PrivateInvest Credit business model focuses on investor capital preservation and delivering quality risk-adjusted investment returns for their valued investors.Position Overview & Key ResponsibilitiesThis role involves leading capital raising and origination efforts, essential for expanding the company's footprint across the East Coast of Australia, and is based at their Sydney CBD Office working alongside the Loan Origination team.Identify and target potential investors, family offices, high-net-worth individuals, and ultra-high-net-worth individuals seeking investment in the property credit sector.Investment into the main flagship Fund, the PrivateInvest First Mortgage Income Fund (Pooled Fund).Establish investment mandates for direct first mortgage loans on a syndicated co-invest basis.Develop and execute comprehensive capital raising strategies with the Managing Director and Marketing Manager to meet the Fund's capital forecast budgets and growth objectives.Prepare and present regular reports on capital raising activities, investor engagement, and market feedback to management.Work closely with internal teams, including finance, legal, and compliance, to ensure the successful execution of both capital raising and loan origination activities.Ability to travel across the eastern seaboard for responsibilities and quarterly meetings in the Perth office.Technical Skills & QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.Minimum 5 years' experience in a prior senior capacity role with similar capital raising for their target capital market investors.Established existing relationships with Family Offices, high-net-worth individuals, and ultra-high-net-worth clients.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.Well organized, with the ability to multitask ensuring that deadlines are met within timelines.Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Knowledge of the non-bank lending sector and property markets is important.Previous bank and credit experience, specifically in property, would be desirable.If you are interested in learning more about this position, please contact either:Simon Gvalda on 0412 122 593 / ****** Ong on 03 7045 5508 / ****** Kaizen Recruitment or apply via the attached link.Kaizen Recruitment is the exclusive recruitment partner for this position, and all applications will be reviewed and assessed directly by Kaizen Recruitment.
