PHE Power and Infrastructure is currently seeking a highly motivated HSE Advisor to join our team based out of our Eagle Farm office on a permanent, full-time basis.
This position will be a mixture of local and away work.

Based in Eagle Farm, PHE's Brisbane operations undertakes small- and large-scale project work for iconic clients throughout Brisbane and South-East Queensland.
You will be responsible for providing HSE support, training, and building safety knowledge across for our people.
ABOUT YOU: Diploma OHS qualified or Minimum of Cert IV WHS and TAE Internal Auditing training (preferred) Sound working knowledge and understanding of WHS and Environmental legislation, standards and code of practice D&A testing qualification or ability to obtain Return to Work Coordination Qualification Previous experience in a HSE Advisors position working on Industrial Electrical construction projects Sound Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel skills Strong Safety Leadership Highly organised with impeccable attention to detail Flexible and open to working away from home, as required by the company.
ABOUT THE ROLE: Provide leadership that encourages Work Health, Safety & Environment throughout site to create a continuous improvement culture and implement best practice management systems in the workplace Undertake regular training needs analysis and manage internal audit programs in consultation with management team Prepare reports, record data, and collect evidence of the site's compliance Provide active management of workers' compensation matters, including rehabilitation, case management and return to work programs Reporting any workers compensation matters to Management Ensure that all people work sensibly, safely and abide to all WHS & Environmental Acts and Regulations Conduct random D&A testing on site Identify health, safety, and environmental non-conformances, conduct investigations and develop solutions for implementation ABOUT PHE: It is an exciting time to join as PHE has over 50 years of experience and provides electrical and instrumentation operations support services to clients throughout Australia including mining, hydropower generation, remote gas power generation plants, food and beverage, pulp and paper manufacturing, and timber processing industries and is known for the excellent care we take with clients and employees alike.

PHE is actively involved in major projects across Australia, including Cadia Mine NSW, BHP Carrapateena Mine SA, Snowy Hydro NSW scheme, Tanami Mine NT, Prominent Hill Mine SA, Clarke Energy Power Stations (Various sites in Surat and Bowen Basins) and installations/upgrades in the timber and food and beverage industries.
