Watson Fitzgerald & Associates Pty Ltd are specialists in the service and preventative maintenance of air conditioning and mechanical service systems used in commercial and industrial applications.
We provide programmed maintenance services and repairs to major building assets within hospitals, world leading research facilities, shopping centres, commercial office buildings, hotels, and apartment complexes.
We are currently looking for a valuable HVAC/Mechanical Service Technician to become an integral part of a young, dynamic, proactive, and professional service team.
The successful applicant will integrate into our ever-growing specialised Service team, focusing on maintaining commercial facilities throughout the Adelaide area.
As part of your role, you will be responsible for the service, repairs, breakdowns, and fault finding on all types of air conditioning and mechanical systems including central plant and chillers.
You will also have the opportunity to work on brand new, state of the art HVAC technology and equipment.
Minimum RequirementsThe appropriate applicants will have:
An air conditioning or refrigeration trade qualification.ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence.Restricted Electrical Licence.A current Australian Drivers Licence.A good understanding of HVAC Systems.COVID-19 Vaccination (or be willing to get one in the first 14 days).The ability to attain DHS Aged Care and Child Related Employment screening if successful.Other desirable skills include:
Previous experience in a similar role.Exceptional presentation and communication skills.Experience with BMS.Experienced with the use of an electronic reporting system (such as SimPro or ServiceM8).In return you will receive an excellent hourly rate (to commensurate with knowledge and experience), 24 hour income protection insurance, a fully maintained company vehicle or car allowance, phone allowance, provision of uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE), the freedom to organise and set up your own preventative maintenance job run, as well as support and opportunity for personal and career advancement.
