About the OpportunityCiveo Australia are looking for highly experienced FIFO Sous Chefs, who will excel in liaising between the Head Chef and Line Chefs and possess significant leadership experience.
Bring your creativity and passion to deliver exceptional food to our Villages across WA.
The primary focus of the role is to ensure a smooth and profitable kitchen operation for the village.
This is a fly-in-fly-out role (FIFO) departing from Perth on 2:1 rosters.

where applicableAbout You3+ years' cumulative chef experience, working in a remote village environment (FIFO or DIDO)2+ years' experience supervising and managing of a team of chefs to deliver a smooth serviceStrong experience in a bulk/batch cooking environment.Ordering, profit and wastage reportingCertificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery or Trade certificate.Applied knowledge of HACCP principles in a bulk cooking environmentAbility to help create service schedules on a daily, weekly and monthly basisApplied knowledge of workplace safety systems and compliance requirementsAble to work nightshift where requiredStrong leadership experience and understanding of working between Head Chefs and Line ChefsIntermediate skills with regards to Microsoft Office applicationsKnowledge of relevant kitchen chemicals, including their application and storage.You must have a valid Manual Driver's Licence (Class C).The application & onboarding process:Apply NOWShortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a 5-10 minute video introduction via MyInterviewPhone discussion with Recruitment Team & culinary teamsComplete Civeo paperwork and provide relevant documents, including a Police Clearance less than 6 months oldComplete Pre Employment Medical & Drug screenComplete all Site and Civeo inductions - online and face to faceIssued uniforms and contractSystem and company trainingGet startedWhat's NextIf this sounds like you, please click "Apply Now" or alternatively, please apply through our website www.civeo.com.Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.
