About the Role ALS Water Division operates a modern commercial laboratory in Scoresby that's equipped with the latest in technology.
We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Technician with 1-2 years' experience in Laboratory work to join our team.
We strive to exceed client expectations by delivering quality results on time and by maintaining strong relationships with our clients.
This role is fast-paced and requires you to work at speed with accuracy.
Experience in a Commercial NATA accredited Laboratory would be advantageous.
The day to day Preparation and analysis of water and soil samples in accordance with ALS Quality Work Instructions Completing tasks accurately, in set timeframes and to the relevant analysis standard Highlighting anomalies in results and sample type and sample behaviour to the Team Leader Organising designated tasks to maximise daily efficiency Contribution to a clean, tidy and organised Laboratory.
The Essentials 1-2 years' experience in a Commercial Laboratory Relevant experience – Degree or Diploma qualification Excellent organisational skills Effective written and verbal communication skills Team-oriented with the ability to work autonomously Strong focus on quality and safety standards Attention to detail.
