Due to growth, we are looking for a Project Engineer in Brisbane to join us on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of an extension.
You will be responsible for defining, delivering, managing, and reporting on projects for a dedicated client.
Participation in continuous improvement initiatives and providing technical assistance will form a key part of the role, and you should have a code-first mindset for Infrastructure.
It is a hybrid role; travel to the client site will be required in Fortitude Valley.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to: Effective delivery of projects achieving desired outcomes. Adhere to Project Management methodologies as guided by the PMO. Demonstrate technical and service excellence. Meet billable hours target. Adherence to and management of scope. What skills you will bring to the team: Minimum of 5 years technical service delivery experience. Skills and experience with Wintel solutions for server and workstation use cases; specifically: Windows Server 2008-2022, Windows 7-11, Active Directory Domain Services and Certificate Services, DNS, DHCP, File & Print Services, Virtualisation (VMware and/or Hyper-V), Cloud-based services such as Office 365 and Azure solutions essential. Chosen specialisation in current technologies (e.g.
Citrix, SQL, Network, SSO, etc). Demonstrated Powershell/scripting ability. Code-first mindset for Infrastructure. Proven work in a billable hours environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent time management ability. Passion for delivering quality outcomes for customers. Security and best-practice focus. Have private transport and current driver's license. Experience within an outsourced service delivery environment. Desirable: Prior experience in Solution Architecture. Technical documentation writing experience. Technical account management. Proven ability to influence key decision makers. Working knowledge of ITSM service delivery concepts. NOTE: As part of our hiring process, you will be required to undertake a National Criminal History Check.
