We're seeking a talented Head of Video Department to join a world-class event technology and production company based in Melbourne.
About the Company Our client is a global leader in event technology, specialising in cutting-edge video systems for concerts, major sports events, theatre productions, corporate events, and more.
Known for their innovative approach, they deliver stunning visual experiences through advanced LED screens, video walls, and projection mapping at some of the most high-profile events in the world.
About the Role As the Head of Video Department, you'll take the lead in overseeing the video team and ensuring the seamless execution of video operations for large-scale live events.
This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional visual solutions while maintaining high technical standards and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the video department, including scheduling, training, and development of the team.Oversee the delivery of video systems for major events, ensuring technical excellence and innovation.Provide hands-on expertise in LED wall systems and other advanced video technologies.Collaborate with clients and internal teams to design and execute extraordinary visual experiences.Maintain equipment and operational standards to support world-class event delivery.Drive continuous improvement in processes, workflows, and team capabilities.What We're Looking For: Significant experience in video systems for large-scale live events, including LED wall expertise.Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing technical teams.Hands-on knowledge of advanced AV and video technologies.A passion for innovation and creating unforgettable visual experiences.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Seniority levelMid-Senior level
