AUTO ELECTRICIANS - WESTERN AUSTRALIA BDS Mechanical currently has a full-time position available for an Auto Electrician to join our team in Western Australia.
These are full-time FIFO positions located at various WA mine sites with multiple roster options to suit all lifestyles (2/1, 2/2 or 3/1).
About us: BDS Mechanical Repairs is a privately owned, growing business that offers mechanical, auto electrical, and welding repairs both in-house and onsite with 22 fixed workshop locations throughout Queensland.
We have over 160 field service units, and the team at BDS covers over 600,000 km2 of Queensland and Western Australia, meaning we're never too far away.
The successful candidates will possess the following: Relevant Trade QualificationDiagnostic experienceHeavy and medium truck & trailer repair experienceHigh level of technical ability & knowledgeGood communication skillsStrong fault-finding skillsAbility to work as part of a teamExtra skills, experience, tickets, and licenses will be advantageousAircon ticket preferredYour duties will include: Installing new vehicle wiring systems.Installing and troubleshooting immobilizer and alarm systems.Gathering information from customers about issues with their electrical system.Diagnosing electrical issues and proposing a course of action.Providing customers with estimated time and cost for repairs.Repairing and replacing faulty wiring or electrical systems.Servicing of electrical automotive parts.What we can offer: Very high hourly rateFull-time employment (11.5% super, 4 weeks annual leave, sick leave)Various rosters availableAccommodation includedFlights includedCompany vehicle + fuel card included for all field rolesMedicals paid forWeekly paysRelocation packages availableGenuine career advancement opportunitiesPrivately owned and managed reputable companyIf you'd like to join the team or simply know more about our positions, then apply today and we'll be in touch for a confidential chat to discuss our positions further.
