The Department of Mathematics and Systems Engineering is seeking dynamic and knowledgeable individuals as adjunct faculty to teach single and Multivariable Calculus, sophomore level Probability and Statistics courses during fall 24.
Successful candidates will play a crucial role in imparting theoretical and practical knowledge to students, fostering a deep understanding of underlying concepts in these courses.

Responsibilities: Course Instruction: Design and deliver lectures, tutorials, and hands-on sessions to guide students through the intricacies of course material.

Curriculum Development: Develop and update course materials, ensuring alignment with the latest advancements.

Evaluation and Assessment: Design assessments, quizzes, and projects to evaluate students' understanding and proficiency in applying methods and techniques taught in the course.

Student Engagement: Foster a positive and interactive learning environment, encouraging student participation and engagement in discussions and practical hours.

Provide Regular Office Hours: Regular office hours for student consultations, addressing questions and concerns related to the course content.

Qualifications: Educational Background: A Master's degree in Mathematics/Probability/Statistics.

Teaching Experience: Prior experience in teaching courses in single/Multivariable Calculus, and/or Probability and Statistics is highly desirable.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts to students.
