Australian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG) owns, operates and invests in infrastructure which delivers gas to more than two million homes and businesses, and is one of the largest gas infrastructure businesses in Australia.
AGIG manages over 40,000km of distribution networks, more than 4,300km of transmission pipelines and 60 petajoules of storage capacity.

About the Opportunity
The asset performance team exists within the DBP asset management function.
Assets owned and operated include gas transmission pipelines, gas production, storage facilities, hydrogen generation and blending facilities.
The asset performance team is responsible for process design and commissioning, gas measurement and QMI equipment, reliability, efficiency, and process safety.
The Reliability Engineer (Electrical, Control and Instrumentation) under the leadership of the Senior Reliability Engineer, will manage the alarm management system and digitised asset performance monitoring systems with a view to remove defects that impact the asset reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
Ownership of the alarm management program to categorise, analyse and resolve high criticality and high-volume alarms.
Ownership of the digitised asset performance and monitoring systems.
Ownership includes coding and troubleshooting of the PLC as required.
Once a defect has been identified, each reliability engineer is required to resolve the defect.
Some site work is typically required to achieve the best outcomes.
Develop methods to identify under/over maintenance of equipment and take ownership to implement the required changes.
The asset performance team members are responsible for process design, process safety, gas measurement, reliability and efficiency.
All team members will come to rely upon the Reliability Engineer (EC&I) to act as a subject matter expert on all EC&I aspects of their roles.
Management of small EC&I projects.
About You
Engineering degree that is recognised by Engineers Australia, preferably in Electrical, Mechatronics, Electronic or Control Systems Engineering.
Experience in identifying and rectifying reliability issues in an industrial setting.
Experience with PLC coding and troubleshooting.
A detailed understanding of Electrical, Control and Instrumentation equipment.
Exposure to troubleshooting equipment failures within an operational facility.
