Hays Darwin has multiple opportunities with several local clients seeking skilled Team Leaders.
Your new role
Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:
Management of hospitality & catering staff including bar Organise weekly and daily pre-starts Coordinate dining room delivery Liaise daily with Food & Beverage Supervisor Produce rosters and manage staff for hospitality and catering support Ensure Food Safety Plan is adhered to Count cash for dining room cash float Ensuring that all areas of the dining areas are maintained in a clean and presentable condition Train and support staff to ensure that the provision of customer service is delivered at the highest possible level at all times Ensure staff grooming and presentation is at a high level and correct uniforms are worn at all times Multi-skilled in all aspects of hospitality and customer service delivery Ensure compliance with RCE (Risk Control Excellence) standards and complete HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) and all relevant paperwork What you'll need to succeed
Skills and Experience:
You must be an Australian Citizen You must be currently located in Darwin with plans to remain here for the duration of 2025 You must be able to pass a National Police Check Hold a current Responsible Servicing of Alcohol Certificate (RSA) Current First Aid Certificate is desirable Ability to complete Food Handlers course on site Possess a valid Driver's Licence Previous experience in a similar leading role Ability to lead and motivate staff under minimal supervision Demonstrated ability to deliver and drive customer service excellence What you'll get in return
