Collections Team Leader - Contract role 6- Months
Yamaha Motor Finance is seeking a Collections Team Leader based at Wetherill Park for Maternity leave cover (6-month duration).
If you are a positive, confident people leader with great work ethic, possess exceptional time management skills including problem resolution and timeliness of decisions then here is your chance to grab this fantastic opportunity.
About the Role:
Responsible for leading a team of Recovery and Collection Specialists and to drive team performance by providing leadership, development, coaching and embedding a collaborative team culture.
Provide assistance to the Customer Services Manager in the daily operation and workflows of the Collections, Loss Recoveries and Asset Management Department.
Support Management to achieve corporate performance goals and budgets.
Assist in monthly reporting and ad hoc tasks.
Maintain and monitor policy and procedures for adherence and compliance.
Oversee staff rosters.
First level escalation point for complaints.
Responsible for the "Financial Ombudsman's Service" (AFCA) processes.
Establish and maintain quantity and quality standards.
To be successful in the role, you will require:

Knowledge of Credit risk and Settlement operations.
Pro-active approach to business process and systems improvements.
Understand of and desire to learn about systems, customers service concepts and business processes.
High level accuracy and comprehensiveness with precise attention to detail.
Sound knowledge of the compliance obligations and applicable legislations.
Effective people management skills.
