Nature's Care Manufacture Pty Ltd is seeking a full time R&D Chemist to work in its Cosmetic & Personal Care Division.
Nature's Care has over 25 years of experience in manufacturing and distributing health products.
The position is responsible for the development of new products and improving existing products.
The role is responsible for formulating and delivering new products to the market through planning and implementing development projects from concept through to full scale production.
The salary is $100,000 plus super.
Responsibilities include: Manage and execute the entire development process from research and development to launch of the product.Formulation development of all dosages in cosmetics and personal care.Perform experiments and lab analyses to determine the chemical, physical and/or reactive properties of raw materials and manufactured products.Organising trial production and troubleshooting if any issues arise.Establish relevant QA procedures for the new formulation.Troubleshooting production problems and formulation improvement for existing products.Ensuring compliance with local and international regulatory standards, including GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).Assist Audits offering technical assistance.Skills or Experience Required: Relevant Bachelor Degree in Pharmaceutical Science or Chemistry or similar.At least 4 years of experience as an R&D Chemist in cosmetics and personal care.Hands-on experience in dosage and formulation design of cosmetics and personal care.Experience in product formulation and innovation.Experience in a GMP environment.Familiarity with TGA guidelines will be an advantage.Good knowledge in complementary medicine.Highly organised, proactive, and ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.Strong attention to detail.Show drive and motivation, an ability to self-reflect and a commitment to learning and driving continuous improvement.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $100,000.00 – $105,000.00 per year
