Job Title : Payments Lead Everyday Banking (Debit)
Location : Sydney, NSW
TERM : 12 months

Our Everyday Banking team focuses on providing innovative debit solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.
Role Overview : We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Payments Lead to join our Everyday Banking (Debit) team.
In this role, you will oversee priority engagements within the debit segment, driving product development, managing operations, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities : Product Development: Lead the development and enhancement of debit card products, ensuring they align with customer needs and market trends.Project Management: Oversee priority projects within the debit segment, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, and compliance, to ensure cohesive product strategies and implementations.Market Analysis: Conduct regular market research to identify opportunities for product innovation and improvement.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all debit products and processes comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external partners and vendors to support product development and operational efficiency.Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze product performance metrics, implementing improvements as necessary to meet business goals.Qualifications : Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 5 years in product management or a related role within the payments industry, with a focus on debit card products.Skills:Strong understanding of the payments landscape, particularly debit card products.Proven project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in relevant software and tools.Why Join Us : At Commonwealth Bank of Australia, we value innovation, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence.
