An exciting opportunity has opened for an Australian-qualified Senior Associate to join the Disputes team in Sydney. This full-time, permanent role will see you involved in a broad range of complex litigation, arbitration, and mediation matters, both on a national and international scale.

About the Team
The firm's Disputes team represents global businesses in high-stakes litigation, arbitration, and mediation, offering a full-service approach across the world's major jurisdictions. With a proven track record of managing cross-border disputes, the team is strategically positioned to handle the complexities of global conflict resolution.
Clients rely on the team's ability to resolve disputes quickly and efficiently, minimizing business disruption. Whether representing large corporates or smaller enterprises, the firm tailors its approach to meet each client's specific needs, ensuring commercially focused outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Handling complex litigation, arbitration, and mediation cases across a range of sectors.Working collaboratively with cross-border and cross-departmental teams on national and international disputes.Advising clients on the best dispute resolution strategies, with a focus on efficient and effective outcomes.Coordinating with local experts on multi-jurisdictional disputes, forming international teams when necessary.Participating in national and international secondment programmes, offering exposure to different departments and cultures within the firm.What You Will Gain The chance to work in a dynamic and intellectually stimulating environment, part of a leading international law firm.Exposure to a variety of challenging, high-profile disputes cases.Access to national and international secondment programmes, allowing for growth and development in different legal cultures.Opportunities for interdisciplinary work with other teams in Sydney and around the globe.Local and global training programmes, including business development, communication, and management training.About You Australian qualified lawyer with 5-8 years of strong litigation experience, trained at a top-tier law firm.Exceptional academic credentials.Self-motivated, resilient, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Entrepreneurial mindset with strong business acumen and commercial awareness.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.Attention to detail, high level of professionalism, and sound judgement.
