About the role: The Specialist, Student Conduct and Integrity is a critical role with the Student Success Division, responsible for overseeing and guiding the student academic integrity and student conduct functions for the University.
As a subject matter expert in academic integrity and student conduct, this role provides high-level investigative and advisory services, particularly for escalated and complex cases.
The Specialist will interpret and apply relevant policies, navigate intricate situations and produce insightful reports to support evidence-based decision-making and ensure fair outcomes for all impacted parties.
Accountabilities: Engage with diverse stakeholders to analyse problems, implement inclusive solutions, evaluate effectiveness, and adjust actions as needed. Reassess priorities, overcome barriers, and monitor risks to achieve excellence while striving for high-quality outcomes. Encourage new ideas, question traditional practices, and foster inclusivity through coaching and collaboration. Inspire others with ethical leadership, promote teamwork across functions, and drive inclusive, positive change. Tailor services to customer needs, build ethical partnerships, and enhance outcomes through feedback, learning, and high service standards. Minimum Requirements: Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. Experience in student academic integrity and/or student conduct. Knowledge of academic integrity principles and University policies. Experience in conducting complex investigations and providing expert advisory services. Experience producing high-quality reports and strategic insights to senior leadership. Demonstrated influencing and leadership skills. Strong communication skills with ability to influence and lead without direct authority.
