Develop, test and implement solutions in Data analytics & BI reporting platforms based on Business Requirement Specifications Work closely with business analysts & project managers to provide guidance and a subject matter expert recommendation.
Provide functional knowledge of the E2E project delivery lifecycle from the requirement gathering phase until production deployment phase for respective applications.
Hands on experience with common enterprise data quality subjects such as data cleansing, de-duplication, data profiling, gathering requirements and preparation of business view, identifying & resolving ETL performance issues.
Monitoring the jobs in Informatica Monitor and Autosys and resolving the errors as per the logs.
Proactively identify areas that require improvement and propose solutions to address them; input into the business development road map as a Lead Developer.
Adhere to the Agile methodology of project delivery when releasing new solutions.
Upskill and coach a broader Development and Application Support engineers, to ensure smooth handover from Development to Support function within company/client.
Develop and maintain documentation for all aspects of business implementation and ensure that the knowledge base is up to date and accurate.
Other duties as directed by the company/client.
Mandatory Skills:
Minimum of 6+ years' experience across multiple industries including Banking & Financial Services, Energy & Aviation.
Experience in Extraction, Transformation and Loading of data directly from different heterogeneous source systems like Flat Files, Oracle, Greenplum, SQL Server, Teradata, DB2 etc.
Possess modular understanding of Teradata Utilities, Informatica Designer, Workflow Manager and Monitor tools to load data.
End to End analysis (like map doc analysis, datatype and precision comparison between source and target, table structure comparison) before starting any new development.
Implementation of various Business Rules & logic at transformation stage and loading data into Data Warehouse.
Knowledge of REST API's & conversion of existing BTEQs into corresponding hive scripts.
Strong Analytical and design skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with business and functional resources to develop sustainable business solutions.
Ability to document technical specifications.
Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Ability to knowledge transfer skills to other team members.
Testing experience during all system and end user testing, including issue analysis and resolution.
Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
Open to learn new technologies/applications and meet business demands.
Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Ability to knowledge transfer skills to other team members.
Preparing the DDL's for the numerous tables to be integrated and executing them.
Developing Session, worklet (if required) command tasks and workflow.
Designing UNIX scripts to extract ETL load stats from session logs.
Performance tuning in a project integration to reduce its runtime by identifying the load strategy (truncate and load, insert/update) and using Teradata utilities (Bteq, Fast load) Writing BTEQs for the different stages of ETL.
Updating Informatica code as per UAT comments and complete UAT.
Working closely with the SMEs and current team, the role will also be required to:Follow Change Control procedures as well as performing environment refreshes and maintenance of the different environments on a regular basis.
Form part of an upgrade team to execute Upgrades and Updates.
Troubleshoot and fix application environment issues.
Able to rebuild this platform if required.
Ability to view and analyze a situation in a logical, systematic perspective.
Ability to attain good solutions.
Understands the business impact of an IT systems failure.
Ability to create a technical recovery and continuity plans.

FTP client: FileZilla, WinSCP, Putty Agile tools: Rally, TFS, Lean-kit, Jira Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job required.
