We are actively seeking a committed Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance of our fixed plant assets to enable efficient and safe operation.
Reporting to the Asset Manager SEQ, this position is required to support our concrete plants across South East Queensland.The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supervising maintenance activities across Boral's SEQ fixed concrete plants.
This role will identify, coordinate and project manage fixed plant asset maintenance to meet plant availability and maintenance budget requirements.Your day will involve:Developing scope of works, undertaking tender processes, reviewing quotes and awarding maintenance works to external contractors.Scheduling plant shutdowns for maintenance to meet operational and customer requirements.Coordination of contractors, suppliers, and internal operations for scheduled maintenance shutdowns.Onsite supervision of medium to large scale maintenance works.Holding effective site toolbox meetings with contractors and internal staff undertaking maintenance activities.Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with Boral safety management system.Monitoring and reviewing work quality.Monitoring and reporting KPIs such as unplanned plant breakdowns.Working with the Asset Manager to manage fixed plant maintenance budget.Liaising with internal, external customers and suppliers in a professional manner.Carrying out related work order administration and reporting requirements.Carrying out some minor breakdown repairs and maintenance tasks at times, if and when required.What are we looking for?Proven experience in a similar role within concrete or manufacturing industries.Mechanical trade or Engineering qualifications highly desirable.Previous experience supervising/managing medium sized maintenance works, including leading contractors.A strong commitment and focus on safety.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Experience using computerised maintenance management systems (Maximo, Oracle eAM, etc).What's on offer?Competitive Salary Package + Tool of Trade Vehicle + Phone + LaptopOngoing mentoring and guidance from outstanding industry leaders and colleaguesGenuine career growth opportunities within Boral AustraliaAccess to a variety of support networks including Boral Employee Assistance ProgramOpportunity to work for an organisation dedicated to health, safety and the environmentEqual Opportunity Employer – Indigenous candidates are encouraged to applyEstablished ex-Defense Force Alumni providing ongoing support and mentoringAbout Boral ConcreteAt Boral Concrete, we have more than 200 operational sites across Australia.
