We're seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our growing team based in our Sydney CBD office.
This is an exciting opportunity in a hybrid role with a minimum of two days a week in the office.
About the roleAs an Account Executive, you will be responsible for helping Zai grow its market share by doing your part to achieve our revenue goals.
You will manage a portfolio of accounts in a 60/40 split Account Management/Sales function.
You will be responsible for upselling and cross-selling to existing customers, driving client engagement and predictable growth of accounts, as well as generating net new business through networking and cold calling outreach.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of clients and identify opportunities for cross-selling our suite of products to existing clients, increasing their engagement and revenue.Present Zai's game-changing product suite to C-Suite executives, translating complex features into clear value propositions.Drive sales through outbound prospecting, using a multi-channel approach (LinkedIn, calls, events) to identify and qualify high-potential clients and partners.Use solution selling tactics to identify customers' pain points and showcase how Zai solves them.Develop strong, long-term relationships with clients, becoming their trusted advisor for all their domestic payment needs.Achieve and exceed ambitious targets by growing your customer portfolio and converting qualified leads into customers.Collaborate with our sales engineering, product, and marketing teams to discover and unlock new growth opportunities.Attend industry events, conferences, and meetups to build relationships with key players and influencers.Utilise a multi-pronged approach like social media, calls, email outreach, and industry events to uncover potential clients.Create an executive strategic account plan for all managed customers to ensure predictable and repeatable growth.Skills and ExperienceAt least five years of experience as an Account Manager with Business Development experience, including a minimum of two years in the Fintech or Payments sector in Australia.Experience in a Hybrid Account Management/Sales role.Passion for building high-level relationships and creating a lasting impact through client success.A proven track record of achieving individual portfolio growth targets and new revenue targets.Experience thriving in a fast-paced environment and building strong relationships with clients in a rapidly growing organisation.Proficiency in Salesforce tools to keep accounts up to date and sales pipeline organised.Strong communication skills, delivering compelling presentations that captivate audiences.Technical understanding of Payments technology (APIs, Reference Documentation, Payment flows, and Diagrams).Willingness to travel domestically and interstate as part of this role.Zai benefits:Competitive salary packages and benefits including generous bonuses and incentives.Onsite Barista to keep you caffeinated all day.A hybrid working environment (minimum 2 days a week in the office).Centrally located in Sydney CBD on Castlereagh St.5 Weeks of Annual leave.A generous one-off working from home allowance.12 Weeks of paid parental leave.Free Beer and Cider available after 2 pm every dayExciting interstate team events.A company culture with an innovative, inclusive, and collaborative mindset where you will learn something new daily alongside amazing professionals.
