We're seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our growing team based in our Sydney CBD office.
This is an exciting opportunity in a hybrid role with a minimum two days a week in office.
About the roleAs an Account Executive, you will be responsible for helping Zai grow its market share by doing your part to achieve our revenue goals.
You will manage a portfolio of accounts in a 60/40 split Account Management / Sales function.
In the Account Executive role, you will be responsible for upselling and cross-selling to existing customers, driving client engagement, and generating net new business through networking and cold calling outreach.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of clients and identify opportunities for cross-selling our suite of products to existing clients, increasing their engagement and revenue.Present Zai's game-changing product suite to C-Suite executives, translating complex features into clear value propositions.Drive sales through outbound prospecting, using a multi-channel approach (LinkedIn, calls, events) to identify and qualify high-potential clients and partners.Use solution selling tactics to identify customers' pain points and showcase how Zai solves them.Develop strong, long-term relationships with clients, becoming their trusted advisor for all their domestic payment needs.Achieve and exceed ambitious targets by growing your customer portfolio and converting qualified leads into customers.Work collaboratively with our sales engineering, product, and marketing teams to discover and unlock new growth opportunities.Expand your influence by attending industry events and building relationships with key players and influencers.Utilise a multi-pronged approach to uncover potential clients.Create an executive strategic account plan for all of your managed customers to ensure predictable and repeatable growth.Skills and ExperienceAt least five years of experience as an Account Manager with Business Development experience, including two years in Fintech or Payments in Australia.Previous experience in a Hybrid Account Management / Sales role.Passion for building high-level relationships and creating a lasting impact on client success.Proven track record of achieving portfolio growth targets and new revenue targets.Experience thriving in a fast-paced environment and building strong client relationships.Proficient in Salesforce tools for account management and sales pipeline optimisation.Strong communicator, capable of delivering compelling presentations.Technical understanding of Payments technology (APIs, Reference Documentation, Payment flows, and Diagrams).Domestic and interstate travel will be part of this role.Zai benefits:Competitive salary packages and benefits including generous bonuses and incentives.Onsite Barista to keep you caffeinated.Hybrid working environment (min 2 days a week in office).Centrally located in Sydney CBD on Castlereagh St.5 Weeks of Annual leave.Generous once-off working from home allowance.12 Weeks of paid parental leave.Free Beer and Cider after 2 pm daily.Exciting interstate team events.Innovative, inclusive, and collaborative company culture.#J-18808-Ljbffr
