Position Title : Business Intelligence Analyst
Location : Perth, Australia
Education / Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in commerce, Computer Science, Information Systems or similarKnowledge : Snowflake Data WarehouseOracle and SQL databasesAWS and Data Engineering skillsSkills and Experience : To be successful in this role you will have : Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar roleDemonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Power BIPower BI Developer certification and exposure to Snowflake Data WarehouseCommunications (verbal & written), analytical, research and problem-solving skillsAble to engage effectively and confidently with users, team members and managementTime management and negotiation skillsSolid experience working with Oracle and SQL databasesDemonstrated working knowledge of SQL programming languageDemonstrated knowledge of relational database environmentsSystem Administration functions for a Power BI environment (Desirable)Best practice knowledge of systems development practices, methodologies and frameworks in an Information Technology context (Desirable)Knowledge and experience of the utilities industryAgile way of workingKey Activities / Responsibilities : Work with the business to gather and analyse business and technical requirementsDevelop BI reporting and visualisation standards, templates, and dashboards for business usersDesign, develop, and implement data pipelines for data migration & collection, data analytics and BI reporting & visualizationsWork with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needsMaintain existing Corporate BI reporting and dashboard documentsIdentify and implement continuous improvements to maximise value of the data-driven solutions and performance of the platformSustain operational effectiveness through troubleshooting and problem resolution of BI reporting and visualisationsProvide advice and support to visualisation developers in the organisationMaintain the health of the Production and Test server environments used by visualisation and BI reporting toolsMaintain technical and support documentation for BI reporting and visualisations #J-18808-Ljbffr
