Smp / Mechanical Pipeline Project Supervisor

Overview of RoleReporting to the Site Superintendent, Project Supervisors take a front-line role in ensuring that our projects are delivered in the safest manner, and that the day-to-day support and management of our contractors is maintained to the highest standard.
Our Project Supervisors are highly experienced in the construction of a wide variety of mine site infrastructure, and work collaboratively with contractors and stakeholders to solve problems and deliver high quality infrastructure to the end user.
Roster8/6 depending on project requirements.
At times, some ad-hoc rosters and nightshift work may be required.
About the RoleGeneral:
Exemplary behaviour with regards to safety leadershipLiaising with contractors and Perth based stakeholders on all relevant project mattersAttending all pre-starts and progress meetings for each project they are assignedEscorting vehicles throughout the Autonomous Zones (AOZ)Completing daily diaries for projects assignedParticipation in Critical Control Monitoring, Live Infrastructure Assessments and Team based Risk Assessments for all projectsConducting Field LeadershipsConducting Plan Task ObservationsConducting Area InspectionsReporting all incidents and taking the lead role as the Incident OwnerInspection and Test Plan (ITP) monitoring and reviewField Inspection Checklist completion (progressively) for all projectsIdentifying non-conformances to project drawings and materials (NCR) and escalating to the Project EngineerParticipating in the Technical Query process (TQ) and providing solutions, conducting review and sign off as requiredAbout YouRelevant Tertiary qualification in engineering.
Project Engineering or Project Supervision experience desirable.
Experience in pipeline, SMP and mechanical desirable.
