Monadelphous is seeking an experienced Supervisor Mechanical to support our Coastal & West Pilbara operations.
The successful candidate will oversee and manage several shutdowns in Cape Lambert WA., ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
You will see yourself working on an 8:6 or 7:7 roster.
This is a casual position with the possibility to advance in your career.
We encourage First Nations people and female applicants to apply.Working with Monadelphous offers many benefits, some of which include:Immediate start with longevity of workFIFO from Perth, WAAn even time roster of 8:6 or 7:7Opportunities for professional development and career advancementLongevity of work (5+2 years)Key Responsibilities:Ensure all works are completed safely and to a high qualityFacilitate seamless handover procedures with the opposite shift supervisors to ensure continuity of operationsAct as a witness for non-negative BAC (Blood Alcohol Content) tests and escalate concerns to the Superintendent as necessaryConduct pre-start briefings in alignment with the information provided on the pre-start boards to ensure all team members are informed and preparedProvide all teams with detailed work packs containing relevant and up-to-date information for each taskAdhere to the SWAAP (Safe Work Area Access Permit) process, ensuring the identification of Safe Areas of Work for all teamsReview and sign off on Risk Assessments and permits for work tasks performed on siteMaintain a regular presence at job fronts multiple times per day to oversee and support team activitiesConduct a debrief at the end of each shift to review team performance, ensuring all personnel are in attendanceRaise SAP notifications and approvals with attention to detail, ensuring high-quality submissions with the necessary attachmentsLead incident investigations, following established procedures and reporting findingsEnsure timely submission of MBE (Mechanical Breakdown Equipment) documentation as per company deadlinesWhat you'll bring:Proven experience of 3-5 years in a Supervisory roleRio Tinto Experience is a MUSTExperience with SAP system is a MUSTShutdown experience is necessary due to the fast-paced environmentDedication to the safety, well-being, and future development of your teamProof of right to work in AustraliaLife at MonadelphousThere's lots to get involved in, celebratory or cultural events and so much more.
