Solution Architect, Workday What's the job? We are seeking a Solution Architect to join our technology group in either Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering key Workday solutions across our organisation. You will drive the design and implementation of integrated Workday solutions to streamline our financial, human capital, and operational processes. Collaborating closely with senior stakeholders, you'll develop strategies to ensure alignment with business and IT goals and contribute to future growth by shaping the Workday strategy and roadmap.
As a Solution Architect, here are the key things you will do to 'bring ideas to life' at Aurecon:
Design and architect Workday solutions that are aligned with best practices, meeting both functional and non-functional requirements for an optimal and scalable architecture. Lead efforts to architect a well-integrated landscape, ensuring seamless connection between Workday and other systems. Document and maintain the Workday architectural landscape, ensuring clear understanding of both upstream & downstream systems integrating with Workday. Continuously assess the current Workday architecture and processes, recommending and implementing improvements that maximize the value of Workday investments. Propose enhancements and refinements to align with Workday's upcoming features, evolving business needs, and industry best practices. Provide technical leadership and guidance to persistent delivery squads and project delivery teams, ensuring consistent and high-quality solutions. Serve as the Workday subject matter expert, mentoring teams and offering solutions that align with the company's strategic objectives and future-state architecture. Collaborate with diverse business stakeholders, including senior management, to define and execute the Workday suite strategy and roadmap. Develop and present high-level and detailed architecture artifacts for approval through the formal architecture review process. Ensure that approved designs are implemented correctly, monitoring delivery teams and vendors to prevent deviations and unnecessary technical debt. What are we looking for from you? The successful candidate will possess the following:
Extensive experience in designing scalable solutions that integrate Workday products and external systems. Deep understanding of Workday Financial Management and Human Capital Management, PSA, and Adaptive Planning. Expertise in Workday integrations (Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder, Workday Cloud Platform, and Web Services). Proven experience in Workday implementations, upgrades, or migrations with in-depth knowledge of financial processes and human capital management. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams like Human Resources, Finance, and Information Technology to meet business requirements. Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills; excellent communication and influencing skills, adaptable to both technical and non-technical audiences. The following are not required, but will be considered advantageous to your application:
A relevant qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar. Knowledge of Workday Extend and Workday Prism. Relevant Workday accreditations. Ready to bring ideas to life?
