About the role: My client is seeking an experienced HR Advisor specialising in Employee Relations to join their small team.
This position is available as an s26 transfer (temporary or permanent) or a non-ongoing engagement for an initial term of 6 to 12 months.
In addition to Employee Relations, you'll have the opportunity to work across a broader range of generalist HR functions along with working on some interesting and impactful pieces of work including:
Assist to develop the performance and employment strategy and rewards and recognition program SES reporting and management of SES workplace terms and conditions Contribute to developing employment policy Deliver complex logistical and organisational support to new and existing employees and their families relating to offshore deployments Provide specialist advice to key internal and external stakeholders on international policy developments and the organisations international activities Prepare accurate and timely reports on international deployments, including operational updates, outcome and lessons learnt
About You: You'll have extensive experience as a HR Generalist with strengths in Employee Relations and a keen interest in the international deployment of Australian Citizens on assignment for the organisation.
Key skills & attributes:
Have an awareness and/or understanding of relevant employee legislation and policy frameworks, government decision-making processes and/or international deployment guidelines and regulations Possess the ability to provide expert advice to stakeholders on matters relating to employee relations and/or internal deployments, including preparing relevant strategic advice where appropriate Can prioritise workloads for yourself and other team members, while monitoring progress toward deliverables across the work area Demonstrate the ability to think strategically, fostering a high-performance and continuous improvement culture
