This role is based at Inverell - Livestock Exchange (IRLX).The IRLX site provides a state-of-the-art livestock auction facility that promises a competitive market for buyers and sellers.
As one of the most advanced livestock facilities in Australia today, IRLX represents a new era in livestock marketing.About the Role :Exciting leadership opportunity for a dynamic individual as the Business Manager for the site.
This role involves steering the success of a cutting-edge Regional Livestock Exchanges (RLX) facility, leading a proficient team, ensuring seamless business operations, facility upkeep, financial and business management, and compliance with industry standards.
As the key liaison with stakeholders, including clients, community, and industry representatives, the role also presents the chance to explore and cultivate new business prospects.Key Responsibilities :Oversee business operations, facility management, and financial aspectsBuild and nurture relationships with clients, community, and industry representativesExplore and develop new business opportunitiesEnsure compliance with WH&S and relevant industry legislationLead, motivate, and mentor a skilled teamQualifications and Skills :Minimum of five years in management rolesExperience in facility management or working in the agricultural industry is highly advantageousTertiary qualifications or a diploma in Business or Agriculture (or equivalent experience)Strong leadership and management skillsProven ability to recruit, train, and develop staffCommercial acumen and entrepreneurial driveDemonstrated project management experienceCurrent Driver's License, Senior First Aid Certificate, and Firearm LicenseHow to Apply :Excited about this opportunity?
