Then, this could be the job for you.Your role would involve coordinating the delivery of therapy services to assess function and capacity and provide therapy programs to both children and adults with development challenges.Duties/ResponsibilitiesProvide Therapeutic Services to a range of designated NDIS participants utilising a strength-based service model.Coordinate the delivery of therapy services to assess function and capacity and provide therapy programs to both children and adults with development challenges.Conduct assessments and work with Practitioners and participants to contribute to the development, implementation, monitoring and review of the therapeutic plan, as appropriate to the circumstances and needs of the individual participant.Conduct home visits and visits to the community as required.Refer to and liaise with other medical and allied health professionals as required.Coach, advise and provide on-the-job support to team members and carers to improve their skills and knowledge in the areas of developmental milestone development and evidence-based interventions and practice to improve participant outcomes.Plan, develop and facilitate or co-facilitate therapeutic therapy programs for participants and other stakeholders internal and external to the organisation relating to specialisation.Attend review meetings, case conferences, and other meetings and ensure all documentation and notes are saved to Case Manager.Work with other Allied Health Professionals to build capability across the team.Provide excellent Customer Service and effective Complaint Management, escalating to the Regional manager as appropriate.Document and create reports on participant services using technology and paper-based systems in a clear, logical, understandable, and timely way.Always adhere to all NDIS Policies and Procedures.Enjoy a structured onboarding program and a range of career development opportunities, including coaching from industry experts and professional development training courses.Flexible work arrangements and the option to purchase up to two additional weeks of annual leave.Enjoy a range of wellness benefits, including wellbeing programs, an in-house wellness app, and discounts on gym memberships.Grow your career with professional development training courses, paid national relocation support, exciting secondment opportunities and an annual professional development allowance.A competitive salary with annual reviews and bonuses, as well as additional benefits such as novated car leasing and salary sacrifice options.About us:Blue Sky People is a UK & Australia based healthcare recruitment agency, with over 20 years experience recruiting for clients in Australia, UK and UAE.With clients nationwide across Australia and ranging from some of Australia's largest private healthcare businesses to boutique independent practices, we welcome applications from registered Occupational Therapists in Australia as well as those with an interest in moving to Australia from the UK and Ireland.
