Quantity Surveyor

Calibre Search are looking to speak intermediate level Quantity Surveyors who would be interested in joining one of Yorkshire's most established consultancies based in Leeds.
Due to internal promotions, a position at this level has now come available for you to work closely with the Associate Directors of the team as they deliver some flagship developments happening across the North of England.
Projects include a range of high rise BTR, office block schemes, student accommodation as well as other exciting large scale projects you will help deliver from a pre and post contract perspective.
The Practice themselves are 40+ strong in Leeds and have always been the go-to leading cost consultancy when it comes to project managing these landmark changing developments.
All of this will 100% help towards your APC as they have a proud record in helping QS's pass their APC first time.
Ideally, they're looking to speak with Quantity Surveyors who have gained some post-degree experience within a similar consultancy/client-side role or they're also open to bringing in QS's working through their 5 year QS apprenticeship degree.
Responsibilities/Requirements Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and cohesively as part of a teamThe ability to deal/face Clients of all levels and general BD knowledgeHave professional presentation, attention to detail and flexibility within all work matters.Offering Pre & Post Contract services - Final Accounts/BOQ's/measurements etc.Project Management/Employer Agent Services/on-site travel & inspections.Degree qualified (ideally in Quantity surveying or RICS accredited at least)Previous experience working within a construction consultancy environmentIf this sounds of interest, please do contact Rob Hayton at Calibre Search to discuss further.
