Science, Math, Digital Technology and TechnologyThe Head of Faculty plays a vital role in driving excellence and innovation within the Secondary School; committed to enhancing teaching and learning outcomes while fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead curriculum focus in line with school and departmental initiativesParticipate in delivering the vision of the CollegeDevelop the quality of teaching and learningPedagogical LeadershipStaff Management and DevelopmentNurture positive relationships between students, teachers, and stakeholders.Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications4 years Education degreeCurrent Queensland College of Teachers registration (or eligibility to apply).Extensive knowledge of teaching strategies to achieve optimal learning outcomes for studentsExcellent technological literacyThe ability to work collaboratively and energetically within a high-performing school cultureQualifications and Essential Criteria requiredCurrent full registration as a Teacher in Queensland.Extensive teaching experience in the relevant subject area(s) with a demonstrated track record of excellence in pedagogy and student outcomes.Previous leadership experience, such as a head of department or similar role, is highly desirable.Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse educational environment.About the CollegeThe Islamic College of Brisbane (ICB) is a Prep to Year 12 co-educational, independent growing school, located on the southern outskirts of Brisbane in the suburb of Karawatha located in the South East Queensland region.
