We are known for the excellent care we take with clients and employees alike.We are a growing Industrial Electrical Contracting company with projects and branch locations in NSW, QLD, SA, and WA that offers its employees a safe, efficient, and rewarding work environment that promotes personal and professional growth.This is a full-time Assistant Accountant role where you will need to demonstrate excellent attention to detail and time management skills with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.In this role you will:Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliationsPrepare monthly general journal postings: depreciation, accruals, prepaymentsPost inter-company debtor/creditor settlements and loan reconciliationsReconcile plant and equipment leasesMaintain Trust ledgers, bank reconciliations and trial balances (Excel and Xero)Assist CFO with monthly reporting and year-end processesReconcile wages and superannuationAssist with Adhoc projectsLiaise with the Administration team across the businessYou will bring the following skills and experience to the role:2+ years of experience in a similar rolePrevious experience in the construction, mining, or logistics industry is preferred, but not essentialGood understanding of Excel & Microsoft Office SuiteHighly developed written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of Xero and MYOB EXO is preferred, but not essentialProblem-solving skillsAbility to work autonomously and as part of a teamThe successful candidate will have:Qualification in Business, Finance, or AccountingBe able to pass a National Police CheckAbout PHE:PHE is actively involved in major projects within the Cadia Mine NSW, Carrapateena Mine SA, Snowy Hydro NSW scheme, Agnew & Gruyere (Power Station) WA, Solar Farm NT, Evolution Mining (Cracow) QLD, Timber industry (Gympie) and installation/upgrades in Food and Beverage (Gympie & Brisbane) and other industrial clients throughout Australia.Our people and their safety are our primary responsibility.We believe in encouraging people to be the best they can be.Our success depends on having the right people in positions with the right attitude.Why choose us?We will support you to succeed in this role and make a meaningful impact in your own way.Be part of a supportive team who want you to succeedCompetitive salary with the option to salary sacrifice into superModern office located in Fortitude Valley close to public transportIf this sounds like the role you've been looking for and you're ready to be challenged and work within a diverse industrial electricity field, then this is the role for youWe will be contacting people after the 6th of January 2025.Please note: You must have the right to live and work permanently in Australia.PHE conducts pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing and a National Police Check prior to employment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
