Based in Salisbury, Queensland, the company plays a key role in providing essential services to their clients, and they are currently seeking a Bookkeeper/Assistant Accountant to support their financial operations.
About the RoleAs the Bookkeeper/Assistant Accountant, you will play a critical role in managing financial tasks including bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, tax filings, and bank reconciliations.
Additionally, you'll provide general administrative support to the office, as well as assist the CEO and CFO with various tasks when required.
This position is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills and an ability to balance financial and being a team player to support areas of the business when required.
Key Responsibilities: Accounts Payable: Process invoices and maintain vendor relationshipsAccounts Receivable: Manage A/R accounts and process customer paymentsBanking: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and manage depositsBookkeeping: Assist with tracking expenses, preparing financial reports, and managing assetsPayroll: Process weekly payroll and maintain leave recordsAbout YouYou have 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience.
You are highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple tasks.
You are proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ideally Xero (Netsuite is a plus).
Qualifications and Experience:- 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Xero (Netsuite is advantageous)
